چکیده
Combustion in fluidised bed boilers is one of the most commonly used methods treatment municipal sewage sludge. Fly ash (FA) and air pollution control (APC) residues are solid by-products generated by flue gas treatment. There significant differences chemical composition these wastes. FA composed mainly SiO2, P2O5, CaO metals such as Zn, Ti, Cu, Cr, Pb Ni. APC contain SO3 Na2O. The leachability tests that were carried out indicate wastes display very low heavy (for example was equal 0.0004 mg·dm?3 both wastes, Cd 0.0012 an 0.00004 APC). On other hand, high sulphate concentrations (49,375 mg·dm?3) found water extract for residues. In order to determine toxicity plants, pot experiments with different additions waste soil (on Lepidium sativum Sinapis alba). Tests based on seeds germinations sativum) extracts from (in concentrations) also performed. results obtained Complete inhibition germination growth test plants all tested experiments. Seed did not show any this waste. Pot showed their only a (30%) addition soil.

Recycling and recovery routes for incinerated sewage sludge ash (ISSA): a review.
The drivers for increasing incineration of sewage sludge and the characteristics of the resulting incinerated sewage sludge ash (ISSA) are reviewed. It is estimated that approximately 1.7 milliontonnes of ISSA are produced annually world-wide and is likely to increase in the future. Although most ISSA is currently landfilled, various options have been investigated that allow recycling and benef...
متن کاملProduction of technical grade phosphoric acid from incinerator sewage sludge ash (ISSA).
The recovery of phosphorus from sewage sludge ash samples obtained from 7 operating sludge incinerators in the UK using a sulfuric acid washing procedure to produce a technical grade phosphoric acid product has been investigated. The influences of reaction time, sulfuric acid concentration, liquid to solid ratio and source of ISSA on P recovery have been examined. The optimised conditions were ...
متن کاملProduction and characterization of glazed tiles containing incinerated sewage sludge.
In this article, glaze with different colorants was applied to tile specimens manufactured by incinerated sewage sludge ash (ISSA) and clay. Improvements using different amounts of colorants, and glaze components and concentrations on tile bodies were investigated. Four different proportions of clay (by weight ratio) were replaced by ISSA. Tiles of size 12 cm x 6 cm x 1 cm were made and left in...
متن کاملSewage Sludge: Characteristics and Recovery Options
In this paper, an overview on sewage sludge characteristics and recovery routes is presented. Starting from an analysis of typical sewage sludge characteristics as found in literature, the most promising disposal options are presented. A focus on incinerated sewage sludge ash (ISSA) follows. Most of the authors agree on considering pyrolysis and gasification as the most viable treatments for sl...
متن کاملEnvironmental Impact of Sewage Sludge Ash Assessed through Leaching
Article history: Received: 22.7.2016. Received in revised form: 2.11.2016. Accepted: 3.11.2016. As part of a wider feasibility study on the possible reuse potential of Croatian sewage sludge ash, ash has been produced by laboratory incineration of sewage sludge from two Croatian wastewater treatment plants. The Croatian sewage sludge ash was tested for soluble heavy metals according to EN 12457...
